Jack Canfora and Rob Koenig have been performing together as an acoustic duo since the turn of the millennium .   While the two formerly performed together in the early 90's as half of the band - "Major Deegan,"  years later they reinvented themselves as an acoustic act and have been performing across Long Island ever since.

 

         Instrumentally, Canfora & Koenig, integrate the use of both 6-string and

12-string guitars into their performances as well as the occasional harmonica or even ukulele when needed.  This instrumental variety allows for a impressive range of song selections.   Unlike many other acoustic acts, lead guitar playing is featured in many of their songs.

 

Vocally, both Jack and Rob share lead and background vocal responsibilities and feature well-crafted harmonies throughout their performances. 

 

 

Over the years their set list has expanded to include  over 200 songs spanning 60 years of music,  ranging from singer-songwriter classics to cutting edge alternative rock.   Canfora & Koenig can be seen live throughout the year and are available for hire for your next party or event.
